After twenty years designing under the label "Sweetie Pies," I was inspired to reinvent and recycle.

I am all about comfort, and a well-loved jersey cotton t-shirt is as comfy as it gets.

I also love to do custom pieces.  We all have a stack of t-shirts that have sentimental value and that we never wear but which we also can't part with.  I love taking your favorite t-shirts and turning them into a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

I go "treasure hunting" at every thrift store or resale shop I can find in search of cotton t-shirts with the right colors and graphics.  Often these stores are non-profit, so the money I spend on purchasing t-shirts goes to a good cause. 

Next, I super-launder all the t-shirts.  Then I cut them up using my own Loveworn patterns and reassemble into an up-cycled wearable -- saving the planet one t-shirt at a time.
